CMA held seminar on Presentation & Discussion on The New Companies ACT on 12th July 2007 at Hotel Taj Samudra.
Eminent speakers presented papers at the conference.
The speakers were Mr. K. Kanag - Isvaran P.C., Former Chairman, Company Law advisory Commission and Mr. Nihal Sri Ameresekera, Former Member Company Law Advisory Commission.
Panelists were Dr. Harsha Cabral, PC, Member Company Law Advisory Commission, Mr. Fred Puvimansinghe, Senior Partner Fred Puvimanasinghe & Co., Mr. J.M. Swaminathan, Attorney at Law, Member Company Law Advisory Commission, Mr. D.K. Hettiarachchi, Registrar General, Dept. of Registrar of Companies, Mr. Ranjan Casie Chetty, FD- Aitken Spence & Co. Ltd. and Mr. Mahen Dayananda, Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce
Over 300 participants were present at the seminar which was a great encouragement to CMA.
